If you are sailing in American waters, these are things you need to know!
There are some important things to know if you are on a ship in US waters.
I know some of this stuff may really surprise you, but you don’t have the same constitutional rights when you’re on America’s waterways.
Article III of the Constitution granted full judicial authority over all waterways under federal control. In other words, when it comes to boating law, there really is no such thing as state law, it’s federal law.
Now it’s true that the state may have control over the lakes that are within the state, but the federal government controls the waterways, what does that mean? It means every bay, river, inlet, that empties into the ocean, that’s where our constitutional rights, specifically, the Fourth Amendment, don’t apply.
Are our constitutional rights not applied? what do I want to say with that?
The Bill of Rights protects US citizens from certain government control. Article 4 states that there will be no unreasonable searches and seizures. That’s why when you’re driving down a highway in America, a police officer can’t just decide to pull you over. They must have what’s called probable cause, like weaving in and out of traffic or speeding, that’s probable cause, then they’re allowed to pull you over. But even once they pull you over, they’re not allowed to search for no reason or sixteen and they can’t just say open the trunk of your car I want to see what’s in there! No, they have to call a judge to get a search warrant.
The Fourth Amendment protects us from unreasonable searches and seizures, but in navigable waters, we don’t have that Fourth Amendment right in the same way that we do when on land. The federal government does not have to have probable cause to detain someone on a ship in navigable waters.
The Coast Guard is an arm of the federal government, they can arrest anyone and they can board any vessel without probable cause and they are authorized to do so. They can also arrest you without probable cause. So don’t forget that the Coast Guard can and will board any vessel they see fit. They do not have to ask permission and can arrest you without probable cause.
Now, where does the coast guard get this authority? By statute of law.
Here’s a quick story. I have a friend who is a sailor who lives aboard, he rents his 50 foot boat on a lake inlet in S. Florida. At about one o’clock in the morning, he heard these loud bangs that woke him up. Who the hell is calling my ship! When he came out ready to fight, he was blinded by a spotlight. There was a coast guard boat that had the searchlight on it and there was an officer behind a machine gun on the deck! The PA horn declared, prepare to be boarded.
I was really upset and thinking, I haven’t done anything wrong.
We don’t expect the police to show up when they weren’t doing anything wrong. That expectation is in fourth amendment rights, which don’t apply when we’re in navigable waters of the US. So just cooperate with them and you won’t have a problem, they have the legal authority as written in the law.
I hope this has given you an idea that will give you the knowledge you need to know and expect with the legal issues that can arise when boating in US waters.

As the basic components at the heart of homes, kitchen cabinets play a huge role when it comes to both aesthetics and functionality. The multiple functions and intensive tasks common in kitchens will sooner or later give way to signs of wear and tear. The need to change, whether to meet your needs or wants, will inevitably lead to a very important decision to make and that is whether to replace or refinish… And this article looks at the factors that make refinish kitchen cabinets worth it or not. .
first is first
First of all, take a look at your kitchen cabinets and carefully evaluate them. If the cabinets, especially the frame, are obviously not in good condition, then capping will soon prove to be a waste of time and effort. While you may be able to make them look like new, it can be very frustrating when everything suddenly falls apart. So avoid overlooking the obvious and be extra meticulous when evaluating each piece, from the individual doors, drawer fronts, frame, and even the hardware. And if you find that your kitchen cabinets aren’t structurally sound, then consider replacing them.
look and feel
Breathing new life into your decor has never been easier with a kitchen cabinet makeover. Occupying a large portion of the entire interior surface, cabinets are a vital and primary contributor to the ambience of the room. Restoring cabinet doors and drawer fronts to a different colored gold enamel can set the tone for your interior and add to the elegant appeal of the room.
kitchen layout
Resurfacing kitchen cabinets is one of the minor, low-cost projects you can do to bring a whole new vibe to the heart of your home. However, this is not always a viable solution for your remodeling needs. Why? The kitchen design remains the same, and if this is your problem, then remodeling is not for you. Replacing kitchen cabinets allows for more freedom when it comes to creatively redesigning the room to meet all the needs of you and your family. With the latter option, you can relocate cabinets and other important features in the room, such as appliances, for a more functional and space-saving kitchen.
Budget
It’s a fact that the more change you need to create through your remodeling project, the more expensive it can be. When planning a fix, this factor can easily put off any homeowner. Resurfacing kitchen cabinets is a cost-effective way to enhance the appearance of the heart of homes. By choosing to resurface instead of completely replacing the cabinets, you’ll save a lot.
But there will always be cases where remodeling is not the best option. So if you really need to do some replacement or add multiple units to your existing cabinets, an affordable way to go is through RTA kitchen cabinets. With the all-wood construction of ready-to-assemble cabinet parts, you can afford the beauty and quality of the choicest hardwoods without breaking the bank.
Indonesian Cycling Madness 2020 Explained

Look around any bike shop in Jakarta and you’ll find that the bikes are out of stock or the shop rep is too busy to answer you, either because they have too much on their plates answering orders or they’re too busy repairing bikes. If you’re wondering why that is, it’s because Indonesians are ditching the malls and embracing cycling as their new hobby.
In 2020, data compiled by the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy indicated that the rate of bicycle use increased by 1000%, as quoted in the Star news. Oddly enough, not long ago, in early 2019, journalists expressed disappointment at how little attention was being paid to the cycling community and how Jakarta and its municipalities were not a bicycle and pedestrian friendly city. Channel News Asia’s Pichayada Promchertchoo explicitly expressed his concern about it. However, in 2020 the attention towards cycling has taken a 180 degree turn, as almost every household in Indonesia now owns a bicycle and actively uses it. More and more people are slowly turning their hobbies over to cycling, and the root cause might be a bit more abstract.
Cycling has been in Indonesia before it was a country
To understand the cycling craze in Indonesia, it is important to briefly understand the history of cycling in Indonesia and the role it played before independence.
In Tetske T. Van der Wal’s novel, “I thought you should know” he documented the life of his grandparents in the Dutch East Indies and partly praised the Dutch for their insights. She posited how influential the Dutch were in introducing first world inventions to the East Indies. Clever Dutch engineers, as Van der Wal describes, introduced roads, bridges, railways, and of course bicycles and, later, velodromes.
The bicycle was first used in Indonesia by the Indian Army, but was quickly used for other activities as a means of getting from point A to point B. However, there was a catch.
One caveat about cycling for Indonesians was that it was limited to wealthy Dutch aristocrats. Bicycles were expensive and prestigious items and were a symbol of wealth and power that could only be enjoyed by a small minority of rulers. Fast-forward to the 1950s, the Dutch had already withdrawn from Indonesia, but they left their technology behind. Due to the political climate at the time, Sukarno had banned Western products from entering Indonesia, including European and American-made bicycles. But that, in turn, left a void, and the market for locally made bikes was filled with Chinese-Indonesians, as the ‘Bike for Dad’ website of Chungkalong University, Thailand, claims.
Bicycles began to decline in popularity in the 1960s and 1970s, with the introduction of motorcycles and automobiles. They began to go out of fashion and were no longer a convenient means of transportation. What was once a state-of-the-art invention was no longer. in fashion. The problem is that Van der Wal’s grandparents didn’t realize how big the cycling craze would be 80 years later.
In Syaiful Afif’s research article “The Rise of the Middle Class in Indonesia: Opportunity and Challenge,” he predicted in 1998 that there would be 85 million people in the consuming class by 2020. He was right. Indonesia’s middle class has more money to spend than ever before and this has arguably helped fuel at least one industry: bicycles.
despite no more days without a car at the moment, more people ride bicycles than ever before. The answer to this phenomenon: the coronavirus. With new restrictions on how many people can sit in a car and shopping malls closed, people have started to come up with new ideas on how to tackle boredom and spend their money. In addition, the roads are also quieter. There is also a consensus that cycling more will keep you fit, and being fit is a good way to combat coronavirus, even though research shows otherwise. Pollution levels have also dropped to an all-time low, according to data from IQAir. Recent data showed that Jakarta’s air had an Air Quality Index (AQI) of just 74 on average (July 2020). All of these factors combined very well and thus resulted in the new fashion of bicycle riding.
Cycling has now seen a surge and is fast becoming Indonesia’s favorite pastime. But the reasons go beyond a simple “hobby” to do when teenagers are bored or when office workers are idle at home.
What is different then and now? Cycling has changed to become a form of identity: it is a way for people to feel part of a community and have a sense of belonging. The uniforms some groups wear when riding are comparable to that of Harley Davidson groups, or even more extreme groups such as America’s West Coast mobsters and the punk subculture. It symbolizes a form of camaraderie, like any other sports team. It is an unwritten agreement to travel together and be friends.
Just as cycling became associated with status, wealth and power during the Dutch colonial period, it has re-emerged to have its own brand, not necessarily about wealth, but about health, fitness, camaraderie and solidarity. , which are important values. to the Indonesians. The filter known as social media has helped spread these values among Indonesian youth, which in turn spread to other groups and this is where we are today, and just like everyone has a different Harley, everyone has their own unique bike, they can tell a story about the person himself.
That’s why cycling has had a more powerful presence, because we live in a time where we lean on each other to support each other instead of being individualistic. Helping each other has mattered much more recently and cycling acts as a channel to express these ideas of solidarity. It is also an activity that appeals to all, something that is not only for the rich aristocrats, however today we take bicycles for granted, but we must remember that bicycles were perceived at one point as first world technology that was was entering the new world. What we think of today as a primitive form of transportation was once considered a marvelous feat of engineering. At this point, it’s unclear whether or not this hype will continue, or if it will once again be a remnant of history, a mere fad that was “fun at the time” but never taken seriously.

Usually the biggest mechanical item in your house is the swinging garage door, which you drive your car through, sometimes without even opening it, I know you do :-).
The main and most dangerous component of the overhead door is the garage door spring (or springs depending on the design), which supports the entire weight of the door panels (sometimes over 400 pounds) and helps it lift / lower the complete door assembly. I have personally installed 3 overhead garage doors with 2 different types of springs, and you have to trust me on that: garage door springs are under enormous pressure and you can be seriously injured or even killed doing such work. If you decide to take the risk, it is imperative that you follow the instructions to the last detail! Even if you have a friend or a professional do it for you, read it and check everything after the installer finishes the job. Overhead garage doors don’t have safety brakes (at least I haven’t heard of one), that would keep them from falling over when the support spring fails. I did find a few US patents for such devices, but apparently none of them were implemented in an actual garage door.
According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, accidents involving overhead garage doors account for thousands of injuries each year (average 30,000 per year). For example, these injuries are: fractures, crushing and amputations. It is believed that not all injuries are reported in the United States. (CPSC)
There are basically two types of garage door spring systems that use rails/side rails (at least these are the most common types in Illinois and probably the rest of the US):
1. Garage door torsion spring(s) coiled on a rod above the top section of the garage door opening (door header)
2. Garage door extension springs that attach to both sides of the door and stretch along the horizontal part of the rail when the door is closed
You can also have an old one-piece door that swings outward as it goes up and up. This particular design will have springs mounted to the sides of the door opening, at approximately waist height, secured to a toggle bracket system that extends the springs toward the ceiling when the door is closed. It is an old and extremely dangerous system, which is no longer manufactured. If you have such a system in the garage, I highly recommend replacing it.
Garage Door Torsion Springs: There are single or double spring designs. Typically, the spring will break while under maximum tension, which is when the overhead garage door is closing/pulling down, or is already fully closed (NORMALLY). If you are closing it manually and it happens during this operation, don’t try to prevent it from being squashed, let go…well, unless your foot is where the door will close!
When one of the two garage door springs breaks, you need to replace them at the same time! It will cost some extra money, but to have an old and a new spring installed:
– put much more emphasis on the new
– the door will lose its proper balance
– the remaining old garage door spring will most likely break soon
Torsion springs for residential overhead garage doors have between 5,000 and 30,000 life cycles. Those digits represent an average total number of times you should be able to open and close the door before anticipating garage door spring replacement.
Garage Door Extension Springs – You may have one or two on each side of your overhead garage door, the spring can slide freely on this cable! When the garage door spring breaks without the cable inside, the broken ends can seriously injure anyone within its reach. Cables should always be included with overhead garage door hardware (assuming they come equipped with extension springs), but MANY PEOPLE forget to install them or don’t read the instructions and may assume they aren’t necessary. Unlike the torsion spring, which doesn’t actually show any visual wear until it breaks, extension spring wear is much easier to spot, because they simply change dimension – the coils are overstretched (best seen when the garage door is open). If you notice such behavior in your garage door springs, it’s time to replace them.
And for both types of garage door springs, their tension must be adjusted evenly (in a two-spring system) for the swing door to ride properly on its tracks; to test it, stop the door slightly above the garage floor (1″ or two). ) and make sure its bottom/top edge is perfectly horizontal. Measuring the gap along the bottom might not be the best way to confirm, since garage floors are often uneven, Placing a level somewhere in the center section of the top edge of the garage door will give you the best reading (remember the door shouldn’t close all the way!) this level without any assistance (garage door opener arm is disconnected).
Important things to remember:
1. Check your swing garage door rollers/hinges, cables and springs for smoothness to ensure they are in good working order
2. Educate your kids about garage door safety
3. Never leave children and disabled people alone near or in the way of the garage door
4. Keep your body out of the way of the door when closing
5. Don’t leave personal property under an open garage door
6. Read more about garage door opener and other garage components

When a person, of any age, is struggling with mental health issues, they may prefer to keep it private, anticipating that it could be seen as a sign of weakness, which could threaten their future choices, friendships, and quality of life. They may adopt a stiff upper lip, not wanting to reveal how vulnerable or fragile they really feel. However, this approach rarely improves anything, and sometimes bottling things up can cause problems to escalate.
Until we are affected or lose someone close to us, we are rarely aware of the staggering statistics around mental health, stress, and suicide. Every 40 seconds someone in the world dies by suicide and it remains the biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK! We’ve had some significant diary reminders recently; The Day of Bereavement Awareness, World Suicide Prevention Day, the anniversary of the Twin Towers, World Mental Health Day, days that remind us of the fragility of life and the importance of supporting each other .
There are ways we help ourselves and others to live a more ‘in touch’ life. Let’s start by considering the young, who often have a lot going on in life. Fear of missing out is often a factor, as friends post pictures of their busy and amazing lives on social media. It matters little that those images are posed, edited and exhibited for public consumption. A young person may simply see their friends as happier, more popular, and more successful than they are.
They can be in a circle where they are being bullied, feeling inferior, marginalized, different. They may be struggling with their sexuality, identity, worried about what their future choices and options might be. If they compare themselves unfavorably to other family members, it can be difficult if they feel like a failure and don’t want to be a disappointment.
Some misbehavior may be part of the job description for being a teenager, but it’s important to stay in touch with their lives nonetheless.
– Pay attention. Is the young person behaving differently, is there a change in their attitude? Have they become angry, moody, quiet, go out less often, spend more time in their room? Sometimes young people do not want to worry, upset or disappoint their nearest and dearest. But that can further increase their stress levels as they struggle to cope and stay strong.
– Try to sit down and eat together regularly so the family bond is strengthened. It also provides an opportunity to notice if something is not right, if your appetite has changed, if you have become withdrawn or unhappy.
– Treat everyone as an individual. and doing things separately instead of always with ‘the kids’. Respect your uniqueness. That way you help them develop and become their own person.
– Teach them to practice gratitude. Cultivate the habit of being grateful for at least 3 things each day. Someone congratulating them, the fact that there is running water, that they have food on the table can be a start.
– Make sure there are opportunities for ‘light’ conversations, instead of sitting down, the most formal. Chatting while cooking or driving can be a good time for conversations like ‘you seem a bit calmer lately’. An informal conversation can be more beneficial than a full interview and allows you to discuss what is on your mind.
– Give them space to speak freely. It can be tempting to finish your sentences or guess what you’re thinking, but even pleasant silence can sometimes be okay when it allows time to reflect and process what’s going on internally.
– Praise them for the things they do well. And include some of those activities in family time so they get regular confidence boosts. It’s good to let them share their excitement with the rest of the family.
– Remind them that failure is okay. It is important to test your limits and get out of your comfort zone. But doing so means running the risk of failure, that not everything will work out or go as expected, even after a lot of effort and commitment. Failure can be part of the lights and shadows of life; learning to cope with setbacks and rejection teaches resilience. Getting up again is an important lesson for adult life.
– Encourage them to give back. Volunteering and focusing on something else, like an animal sanctuary or visiting an elderly neighbor, can be ways to widen your world, learn empathy, and see the big picture.
– Have a chat with your teacher to discuss how things are going at school or college. Has their behavior changed, is there any cause for concern? Sometimes a red flag can be that your child suddenly becomes immersed in their work, avoiding socializing and disengaging from previous friendship groups.
And don’t see seeing your GP or therapist as a failure. Doing so can provide valuable guidance and be the first step on your road to recovery.

What does Clarity mean?
When you purchase a diamond engagement ring, diamond pendant, diamond earrings, or any piece of diamond jewelry; An important factor is the “Clarity” of the diamonds you choose. Clarity is one of the 4Cs used to price diamonds. The definition of clarity is “the quality or state of being clear.” Having a diamond with nothing inside it is extremely rare, especially in larger diamonds. Due to this rarity factor, as a diamond gets “cleaner”, it also gets more expensive.
Of all the diamonds mined each year, only about 20% are “clean enough” to be used in diamond jewelry and the other 80% of diamonds are used for industrial purposes. So if you have a diamond with the highest possible clarity grade, then it really is one in a million, which makes it even more special!
What constitutes the clarity of a diamond?
The two factors that will determine the clarity of a diamond are the things on the outside, which are called blemishes, and the things on the inside of the diamond, which are called inclusions. A diamond will almost always have some other things that got trapped inside it while it was growing below the surface of the earth. Because diamonds have an average age of 3.3 billion years, they have grown very slowly. As they grew, the diamond found other materials in their neighborhood where they formed. The process of getting something “included” within a diamond crystal took millions, thousands, or millions of years. So when you see inclusions within a diamond, it’s like looking back in time for millions or even billions of years. Diamonds commonly have other diamonds captured within them…that’s great, you get more than one diamond with your purchase!
Common inclusions are as follows–
* Clouds
* Pens
* Crystals or minerals included
* Cavities
* Clue
* bearings
* Internal grain
* needles
* Twin Wisps
Imperfections are the things on the outside of the diamond. Most of these are the result of the diamond cutting process and could be removed with a diamond cutter. These are not that serious elements and usually do not play a significant role in determining the clarity grade of a diamond.
Common imperfections are as follows–
* Polish lines
* External grain
*Natural
*Knots
* scratches
* nicks
* holes
* Potato chips
* Fracture
* Additional Facets
* Cavity
Clarity grades are as follows–
Florida (Flawless) – No inclusions or blemishes of any kind at 10x magnification when viewed by an experienced rater.
YES (Internally Flawless) – Has no inclusions when examined by an experienced rater at 10x magnification, but will still have some minor blemishes.
SVV1 and SVV2 (Very Very Little Included) – Contains tiny inclusions that are difficult to see even for experienced raters at 10x magnification.
VS1 and VS2 (Very Little Included) – Contains tiny inclusions, such as small crystals, clouds, or feathers, when viewed closely at 10x magnification.
SI1 and SI2 (Slightly Included) – Contains inclusions (clouds, included crystals, knots, cavities, and feathers) that are noticeable to an experienced rater at 10x magnification.
I1, I2, I3 (Included)- Contains inclusions (possibly large feathers or included large crystals) that are evident at 10x magnification and may affect transparency and brilliance.
It is the combination of inclusions and blemishes along with their size, number, position, nature and color that will determine the clarity of a diamond. There are many variables involved in making a diamond have a certain clarity…it’s because diamonds are like snowflakes, where each one is different.
A little history about the Clarity system.
We currently have a diamond clarity grading system that everyone understands and has worked well for many years…it wasn’t always that way. Years ago, if someone described the clarity of a diamond and said it was a “clean”, “pitted” or “magnifying clean” diamond, would you know what they meant?
Richard T. Liddicoat of the Gemological Institute of America introduced the current system in 1953 and it was immediately adopted as the universal system for grading diamond clarity. Eleven different clarity grades communicate a diamond’s clarity quality regardless of geographic location or consumer language.
Along with defining these eleven degrees of clarity, GIA also states that clarity grading must be done by a trained person using a controlled “darkfield” lighting environment and 10X magnification corrected for spherical and chromatic aberration. wow! That sounds pretty technical! however, it is relatively easy to understand this system.
How will you know the Clarity of a diamond?
You, a person who is not fully trained in this system, probably cannot accurately determine a diamond’s clarity grade. A gemologist who has been trained in all the variables involved will be able to determine the clarity grade and will also be able to show you why a diamond has a certain clarity.
The best way to be sure of a diamond’s clarity will be to have a diamond grading report issued by a credible gemological laboratory. The best reports will be from GIA, AGSL or GCAL. These nationally known and respected labs use a series of qualifiers that must agree on all qualities of the diamond before issuing a report.
What is the best diamond clarity for me?
The price of diamonds will change, go up or down, as the clarity goes up or down. For diamonds in the most common color, cut and weight range, as a general rule of thumb, look for a 15-20% price change for each change in clarity. An FL (flawless) clarity diamond is no more beautiful than a SI1 clarity diamond (slightly included 1), but an FL clarity can cost more than twice the price of an SI1 diamond.
From clarity grades FL to SI1, any inclusions and/or blemishes are only visible when viewed at 10X magnification. I don’t know of anyone who walks around with a 10X loupe in their pocket to look at people’s diamonds…sorry let me correct that, I don’t know of anyone except jewelers and gemologists (myself included) who walk around with a loupe 10X in the pocket.
You’ll have to see for yourself what these different degrees of clarity actually look like. I know many people who have looked at the clarity grading chart and see that VVS2 or VS1 is “in the middle” of the chart, so they think that is what they would like to consider when buying a diamond.
There are only a few diamonds that can fit into the near-impossible FL and IF grades and only a few more diamonds that can fit into the extremely tight VVS1 and VVS2 grades…a single tiny, microscopic, pinpoint inclusion will easily move a diamond out. of these degrees. As you go up to the VS, SI, and I grades, it gets wider and many move diamonds will fit into these grades. SI1 is more “in the middle” than VVS2 or VS1.
Find a good gemologist to teach you or research diamond clarity grades online, it’s really not too complicated. When buying larger diamonds, make sure they come with a diamond grading report that you trust.

I get this so often that I thought it was important to reiterate it again. If you are at an impasse, if you feel tired, lethargic or your metabolism is slow… your body is trying to tell you something and that something is that it is very possible that you are in a state of overtraining, a deep overtrained state or approaching an overtrained state! It may require a layoff, a prolonged layoff, a change in volume and frequency, or all of the above. Overtraining is overtraining people! Try to get this as this is the deadliest mistake a bodybuilder or athlete who trains at high intensity can make.
High intensity training theory was proposed by Mike Mentzer, Olympic champion, bodybuilder and trainer. Mike was the thinking man’s bodybuilder…who spent much of his career and his life testing and researching the theory of high intensity training. He did it both in the gym, his phone clients, and in person. Mike’s contributions to bodybuilding and understanding of anaerobic training were excellent, but the most valuable thing he taught me was how to think!
I was recently on a High Intensity Training forum and a member had questions about training with a technique called Rest Pause. This technique is the one that allows a maximum contraction in each repetition, while resting for seven to ten seconds between each repetition. Repetitions are usually no more than four or five and only one set is used. The only thing about the post was that after doing a rest break workout, this athlete felt tired for many days and wanted to train more often for the experience of training…he liked it and had an emotional bond with it! He reasoned that if he waited longer between reps where he could do each rep without using assistance or dropping the weight and not training to failure, it would be easier on his system and he wouldn’t feel as tired. This was just a byproduct of a very important point that I will discuss below, which was my response to the HIT athlete.
Mike Mentzer said…
When Mike Mentzer said that overtraining isn’t just a bad thing and that sometimes it takes weeks to recover, you better believe it’s true…I’ve seen it in the gym and with my phone clients…although I don’t like to hear it and usually not until we’ve gone through an exhaustive phone training session. Your negative results so far can generally be related to overtraining, not high intensity stimuli… but not getting enough rest to allow the boost after intensive training to occur.
You have to check your logic here…emotionally detach…because if you think about it, you said RIGHT NOW…you’re the strongest and most muscular you’ve ever been and you’ve been training high. intense fashion. IF you continue to train within a specific rest spectrum, and I find this quite often… you are going to lose the battle. WHY? Because his strength can increase by 300% while his recovery ability can only increase by 50%! If you do the numbers you will see that the seesaw tilts to one side. The only way you can offset the effect of growing bigger and stronger is by taking more time off.
It takes time for the body to recover. I can’t begin to tell you how important it is. If the body doesn’t recover… it can’t move on to the next step of building muscle. I have trainees who train every 10-14 days and not until then…compensate let alone overcompensate for exhaustive effects of training. it’s genetics. There are those who can train every other day and recover… (although not forever….) and those, and I’ve had clients like that… who have had to take six consecutive months off before starting . back to training because it took them a long time to fill the ditch… that’s true guys! High Intensity, Heavy Duty (trademark of Mike Mentzer), UK Serious, call it what you want is extremely demanding and therefore extremely productive. If you have a deep understanding of the theory, there are no doubts.
This is the way to think about it…
Okay, you’re training intensely, with intense contraction to stimulate muscle growth, to activate the growth mechanism.
You’re training briefly, not using recovery too much and leaving as much of it there as possible… being mindful not to dig too deep a trench…
***Question… Are you really training short or do you need to cut back more? Remember, training is always negative, we are talking about VOLUME….
If you’re still tired after a week or two or three, your body hasn’t compensated for the exhausting effects of exercise, let alone overcompensated… more rest is required. Not everyone is using recovery enhancing drugs etc so it will take time but the wait is well worth it…we are talking about FREQUENCY
Read about Lethargic…
Lethargy or Lethargic- deficient in alertness or activity; “bullfrogs became lethargic with the first cold nights” [ant: energetic] … it’s a lack of energy… energy is something we are, everything is energy… when we spend it… we have to replace it. The body systematically recovers and replenishes energy as such.
Have you ever noticed how when you’re sick or too tired, you don’t even feel like eating? Animals are the smartest… when they are sick, they don’t spend energy on eating, their body saves all its energy to fight STRESS, and illness is a stress… Look… everything is related to stress. .. the body doesn’t know the difference…
So if your metabolism seems sluggish, you feel lethargic, etc., chances are you’ve allowed yourself to go into a state of overtraining and continue, so just dig a deeper hole. A slow or lethargic metabolism are the first symptoms I use, along with slow progress, to analyze the onset of the overtraining condition. If you are active and healthy and not overtrained… you should feel energetic. If done correctly, you should never get into an overtraining condition.
If we realize that there is a valid theory of high intensity training, if we really understand anaerobic exercise, then the answer is not to change routines, not to go volume approach, not to decrease intensity, the answer can be found by problem or question. in one of the two elements of this training … which is in volume or frequency or both …. who says you have to train every few days? Who says your training has to be one, two, three or five series? Who says those abbreviated workouts have to all be big compound movements? Continue with the theory and you will find the answers to the question.
This really has to do with being 100% for your next workout. Personally, I couldn’t imagine at this point, another rest-pause leg workout, which is my next workout. I am scheduled to return to training tomorrow and I have news for you, I will re-evaluate where I am next Monday… I have already taken eight days off since my last training, tomorrow it will be nine. I’ll add five days and if I’m 100%, I’ll be there, 14 days later… if not, no problem. I look for the result, not the experience, so I am less in the gym; better since it gives me more time to live, play and enjoy the result, a strong, muscular and energetic body…
Always use logic to solve these similar problems and you will find the answers accurately.

Spiritual health is often an overlooked aspect of wellness and healing. However, it is actually the ultimate goal of holistic medicine and leads to a greater awareness of the Divine Spirit that all religions refer to. It doesn’t matter what name you give it. What matters is that you get to know and tune into your guidance in all areas of your daily life. If he does, he will reduce your feelings of fear and provide you with a greater ability to love yourself and others unconditionally. He will also help you reconnect with your special talents and gifts so that you can use them to fulfill your life’s purpose.”
Being aware of the role that the Spirit plays in your life, being spiritually healthy also means being intimately connected with your spouse, partner, family, friends, and community, which also results in social health. Spiritual and social health are interconnected, as it is through our committed relationships that we find the greatest opportunities for spiritual growth and for learning to receive and impart unconditional love.
Observing spiritual and religious traditions, working with spiritual advisors, and support groups are common methods of creating spiritual and social health, as are the opportunities provided by our friendships, marriage, intimate relationships, and parenting. A variety of self-care approaches, including prayer, meditation, gratitude, and spending time in nature, can further deepen your awareness of yourself as a spiritually and socially connected being, and are recommended by conventional and holistic practitioners increasingly.
The five most important rituals to create spiritual health are: Prayer, Meditation, Gratitude, Forgiveness, Spending time in nature, including near fire and water.
Sentence: Prayer is the most common form of spiritual practice performed by most Americans, and most people who pray report a greater sense of well-being than those who don’t. Harvard researcher and mind-body medicine expert Herbert Benson, MD, author of The Relaxation Response, found that regular prayer or the repetition of spiritual phrases like “Shalom” or “Hail Mary” triggers relaxation and reduces stress.
There are many effective ways to pray, both for yourself and for others. Many people find great benefit in using the prayers of their religious education. Others make prayer a time of personal conversation with God, expressing their need or concern and asking for divine intervention. Others find that walking in a place of natural beauty is a form of prayerful worship.
Simply taking the time to acknowledge everything you have to be thankful for and give thanks for what you want. Giving thanks for what you want is more effective than asking for what you want, God knows what you need before you need it and has already sent it to you, therefore, giving thanks recognizes what you have not seen yet. Choose the form of prayer that is most comfortable for you, and then establish a regular routine of repeating your prayers every day.
Meditation: Meditation has been scientifically researched and shown to have physiological benefits for decades. In addition to its physical benefits, which include stress relief, improved immune and cardiovascular function, relaxation, and decreased pain, regular meditation practice can lead to new insights into life’s problems (which often result in healing from past emotional trauma), increased creativity, inspiration, greater compassion for others, and a greater connection to one’s inner guidance.
There is a wide variety of meditation techniques to choose from, and just like with prayer, choosing the one that feels most comfortable to you will provide the most benefit.
Meditation can be done sitting, lying down, walking or jogging. Some people also prefer to sing or chant a word or phrase that has spiritual meaning to them. What all meditation techniques have in common is mindful breathing (see above) and a focus on what is happening in each present moment, until the mind is clear of past and future thoughts, judgments, and concerns.
A simple way to meditate is to sit comfortably upright with your eyes closed and pay attention to your breath. Watch yourself breathing in and out, letting go of any thoughts you have. At the beginning of your practice, you will find that your mind wanders. Each time this happens, gently return your focus to your breath. To improve your focus, you can also silently repeat a word or mantra, such as love, peace, or Jesus.
Eventually, you will experience longer periods of silence between each thought, although it may be months before this occurs. Be patient and don’t force things. Sit for 10 to 20 minutes once or twice a day, but if you find yourself too distracted or pressed for time, end the session instead of sitting fidgeting. With consistent commitment and practice, the benefits of meditation will become apparent to you and you will find that your efforts are worth it.
Gratitude: Dr. Robert Anderson describes gratitude as the Great Attitude. “Gratitude brings about feelings of joy and self-acceptance, and it’s an attitude that anyone can choose to have, just as we can choose to see the glass as half full or half empty,” says Dr. Anderson. “Being grateful for what you have, rather than worrying about what you lack, allows you to let go of negative thoughts and attitudes more easily. This can be difficult at times, especially if you feel very afraid or angry, but if you do the effort to release these painful emotions and choose to be grateful, positive benefits can be achieved instead.”
One method of cultivating feelings of gratitude is to keep a gratitude journal, as described above. A variation of this technique is to close his eyes before going to bed and mentally review his day, taking inventory of all the things he experienced that he is grateful for, silently giving thanks for them. “By making gratitude a regular part of your daily experience, you set the stage for a deeper connection with spirit, says Dr. Anderson. In the process, his life will become an increasingly joyous adventure.” “.
Forgiveness: Forgiveness is power and empowerment. Forgiveness is an act of cleansing your mental field. Forgiveness cleanses false perceptions and lifts you to a higher vibration. Forgiveness is a change in perception, removing a barrier to awareness of who you really are and the presence of Love.
Humans have the power to charge every experience with an opinion and then decide whether it is ‘good’ or ‘bad’, ‘right’ or ‘wrong’. When you affirm that something is ‘bad’ or ‘wrong’, you simply take away the opportunity to transform that experience, affirm that it is good, and use that good as a lever for your ever upward movement in the glorious spiral of becoming who you really are. are.
break up now Meditate on the poignancy of this truth. When you are unwilling to forgive, you are stopping your ever upward movement in the energetic flow of the Universe: the glorious upward spiral of becoming who you really are. Who you are is a loving and caring being: a human being having a spiritual experience and a spiritual being having a human experience.
Many people mistakenly believe that if they forgive the ‘wrong’, they will free the other person(s) from the predicament. However, this is a misunderstanding. Buddhists know that the Universal Laws work in a spiral of energy.
This spiral of energy moves in a circular motion: what goes around comes around. Buddhists call this phenomenon Karma. Therefore, whether or not you forgive the seemingly ‘unforgivable’ act, you are the only one suffering now. The assailant probably doesn’t know that he did ‘wrong’, or if he does, he doesn’t believe his behavior was ‘wrong’. And you keep drinking the poison of anger and resentment waiting for it to die. Let the Universal Laws handle the Karma he/she created for himself/herself.
You can simply remove the negative charge, change your perception, and the good that is always present in your life experiences can make itself known.
Spending time in kind: The most visible manifestation of spirit is nature, where we most fully encounter and interact with the primal energies of life in the forms of earth, water, fire, and air.
Strolling through a park or hiking in the woods are easy and practical ways to reconnect with nature and the earth, as are gardening, backcountry biking, camping, and boating. By making it a habit to spend regular amounts of time outdoors in natural surroundings, you will better appreciate the rhythms of life, including your own.
We need to recognize that cities and other industrialized areas can prevent us from living a balanced life. Spending time in nature helps restore that balance, while also deepening our connection to Spirit.
Spending time around water can also be a spiritually healthy experience, due to the water’s higher concentration of negative ions, which can contribute to feelings of well-being. Swimming in the ocean, lakes, or rivers is a great way to benefit from this life-enhancing energy. Soaking in a mineral hot spring can also provide therapeutic benefits for a variety of foods.
Exposure to fire around a campsite or in front of a fireplace can also have health benefits, according to Leonard Orr, who discovered that fire cleanses the bioenergy field of negative energies and can be a powerful aid in curing physical illness. Orr recommends spending a few hours every day before the fire for people who want to experience such benefits. Fire is also an important component of vision quests undertaken by Native Americans to connect with the Great Spirit and discover their life purpose.
Of all the elements of nature, perhaps the closest expression of the Spirit is the air. Clean, fresh air is essential to health on all levels, and practicing mindful breathing as described above is a powerful self-care method for restoring energy and making you more aware of the power of Spirit as it flows through you. .
Regular exposure to each of these four elements can help you become more aware of how the loving intelligence of Spirit sustains the world, while more deeply recognizing your place within it.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is an important nutrient for brain health. It is a key nutrient for the mitochondria, which are the engine of brain cells. The mitochondria convert the energy stored in the sugar into energy that the cell can use to do work in the form of ATP. An ample supply of niacinamide makes ATP generation more efficient and reduces the level of toxic free radicals (a byproduct of ATP production).
Vitamin B3 or Niacinamide has been shown to be beneficial in several autoimmune diseases. Nearly fifty years ago, Dr. Kaufman used niacinamide to successfully reduce symptoms and improve function in patients with rheumatoid arthritis more than fifty years ago. Twenty years ago, Yamada reported that niacinamide reduces the severity and can even reverse early type 1 diabetes in mice. In 2006, Kaneko reported that the use of niacinamide was effective in preventing and reducing the severity of existing disease in the animal model of multiple sclerosis. However, no human studies have been published using niacinamide to treat or prevent MS.
How is vitamin B3 obtained? It is possible to take vitamin B3 in supplement form. Niacin (a form of vitamin B3) has often been given to treat patients with low HDL cholesterol (good or protective cholesterol) and has been associated with flushing, headache, and liver abnormalities at very high doses. Niacinamide, another form of vitamin B3, has far fewer side effects, even at high doses. Food sources include tuna, salmon, liver and other organ meats, mushrooms, and nutritional yeast.
In general, obtaining nutrients through food is superior to the use of supplements. First, the body is unlikely to absorb toxic levels of the nutrient. In addition, when whole foods are eaten, additional micronutrients are often present that are beneficial to the body. Our understanding of clinical nutrition is still primitive. There are thousands of other useful micronutrients that have not been identified.
What doses have been used? The mouse study that showed reversal of the animal model of MS used 0.5 mg per kilogram. The niacin version of B3 has been used in doses between 500 and 5,000 mg to treat cholesterol and rheumatoid arthritis. However, due to the potential for problems with high doses (greater than 500 mg), it is important to have liver function monitored by a doctor using blood tests. The doses that have been used to treat high cholesterol are likely to be an acceptable dose range when it comes to reducing the severity or preventing the onset of MS symptoms.
Bottom line
Vitamin B3 in the form of niacinamide is a very important nutrient for brain health. The best food sources are wheat germ, mushrooms, organ meats, tuna, and salmon. Supplements are another option. Doses greater than 500 mg per day should be supervised by a doctor. Other conditions have been treated with doses as high as 5 grams per day.
