Working from home today has a very bad reputation. The problem is that many people try to get involved with a program that they know nothing about or think will give them results in a matter of minutes. These two factors are definitely not true! If you went to Google today at this very moment and typed in the words “Home Based Business” you will get millions of results! It is reported that the average person statistically reviews three to five pages of results before closing the window or performing a new search. So what does this mean for the new guy just starting out? That’s how it is! They will not appear to that person and the person will never find out about the opportunity. This in turn irritates people and they give up! Another problem is that people get involved with these businesses that say they will show them “step by step” how to do things that are never true! Then the person fails! In return they tell all their friends that this or that business was a scam and stay out of it and all the rest.

However, let me ask you this question… Think about it! When you were hired at your first job. IE Subway or even McDonalds. Did you walk right in and know exactly how to work the cash register and how to help people at the drive-thru? I think it’s safe to assume the answer was a big NO! You had to be trained. Right? Do you think teenagers are born with the knowledge of how to make that little swirl on top of an ice cream sundae at DairyQueen? NO! Someone had to teach them. They went through Training! Then “IN TIME” learned the ways. then everything becomes second nature! So why would this be so different? Nobody goes and starts internet marketing and on the first day makes a million dollars. It takes time.” That’s why most people don’t quit their day job until they can!

So here’s the deal. If you really want to generate income online, the first thing you need to do is decide what interests you. By all means, daydream about the day he can walk into his boss’s office and slap her in the face and yell “I QUIT.” For now though, think of it like the movie Click. If we had a remote pause time, then we can do it. For now! Look what’s hot. What are people going for? What does everyone go to? AFTER! Go somewhere else! There is an old saying that always go where the ocean is blue, not red! Which means that if everyone else is in a particular niche, that market is flooded or red. Go somewhere where the ocean is clear and blue! If everyone is trying to sell weight loss products, why would you? Go to Google and search for that! WOW! Correct?

The main point of this is that you as a new business owner need to figure out what you are interested in doing! You need to take the time to “train” yourself and get better at selling those products! whatever it is.

Another point I would like to make is this! When you finally got that job at McDonalds or DQ. Did they say “Hey, congratulations, you’re hired! But it’ll cost you $997.00 to start working here” That’s probably not correct. So why is this different? Why would you want a job where you have to pay someone to get into it? That doesn’t make any sense! There are many businesses out there where you can start working for FREE! Some of them charge a little! That I do understand! But never again pay someone $997.00 to start working for them! That’s crazy! There are plenty of great places to get involved and make a living! Some of them in record time. So do yourself a favor!
