I often see bitter and angry comments (no doubt from people who were as delusional as I once was) about anything but Gold Standard or Optimal EFT. That is why I call for open minds, open hearts, and more positivity.

It is too easy for people to attack what is out there that draws people to EFT. Take the tapping solution, for example. Nick Ortner was heavily criticized when he started.

I too was one of the people who read Gary Craig’s verbal attacks on it, and I took his word for “gospel truth”, and went on to publicly attack Nick Ortner’s work, just like the comment above. By the way, I will always be grateful to Gary for bringing EFT to the world and for all the wonderful work he does; that will never change. But a day later, I began to wonder if it was the right thing to do, if my hero could be non-human and never make a mistake or misjudgement.

After the first The Tapping Solution event, all of a sudden, there were more people coming forward for one-on-one EFT practitioner sessions and workshops conducted exactly as Gary Craig wanted in those days. Many people benefited as a result, and to this day, I continue to have miracles with clients who just saw the latest Tapping Solution event and decided to come for sessions or a workshop. Ideally, they do both, and I watch with delight as their lives unfold in front of me. All because of a script that didn’t work for them but that convinced them that there were more things possible to achieve. My mind has been opened to new possibilities, and I now do AMT Energy EFT, as well as Classical EFT and my own unique style, which can be quite similar to Optimal EFT, which is actually Reiki with SUDS or SUE scales and added specificity. Every EFT system out there now competes with one another, so every system, including Faster EFT, Energy EFT, and Classical EFT, is always striving to improve.

I thank Gary Craig, the creator, whom I love unconditionally, as I love everyone, for bringing this debate to the fore, so we can all open our eyes, tap, and then listen to our hearts. I do not agree with his views on some other forms of EFT nor with well written EFT scripts that encourage newcomers to try EFT, the poor and those who do not have access to a practitioner but have limited access to it. Internet; they may have something to help them interpret Gary’s teachings. Gary’s teaching on his website is not easy for everyone to understand and use.

Let’s all stand together, honor the creator of the method, and see the positives in the efforts of every good practitioner and coach to help people achieve health and happiness. Let’s tell the world how positive EFT is. EFT has benefited many of us EFT practitioners, trainers and thousands if not millions of self help tappers. Let’s spread the good word about EFT and question every opinion before making it our own. After all, we can fully tap into that feedback with the tools we have. If opinion starts to change, then it’s probably not the “gospel truth” and we can form our own opinion once our energy flows more freely.
