We’ve all seen movies like The Andromeda Strain, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and read books written by the likes of Tom Clancy, and have considered the possible eventuality that some of these things become much more real than we ever imagined. In fact, not too long ago they found amino acids in the dust of a comet, from a comet that was buzzing close to Earth in space. Amino acids are what you need for life, and all you would need was energy along with that and you would have some form of life.

Does this mean that there are bacteria, viruses, or some other form of life that is traveling through deep space on a comet, waiting to land or crash into some planet, and we are seeding life?
