There are countless amazing and impressive natural wonders of the world and it is difficult to make a selection and limit yourself to just seven, but this is a list of the main natural wonders of the world.

Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon is considered one of the most impressive parts of the natural world, having been carved out by the Colorado River a few centuries ago. This gigantic and fascinating gorge through the parched desert is approximately 287 miles long and approximately 18 miles wide, and more than 1,550m deep.

Great Barrier Reef

Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights

The aurora borealis or “northern lights” is a specific identity for a conspicuous occurrence of light frequently visible in the northern areas of countries such as Norway, Sweden, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Alaska, and also Canada.

Paricutin Volcano

Mexico’s Paricutin Volcano actually came out of nowhere and appeared as a new volcano that was initialized in an instant when the soil in a farmer’s cornfield broke free in February 1943, and volcanic emissions began to flow! Since then the magma flowed with little interruption until February 1952.

The volcanic emission enclosed two towns with lava, although there were no victims but the loss was immense. This particular volcano has a height of 2,800 m.

Niagara Falls

Located on the border between Canada and the US, Niagara Falls consists of three different waterfalls: the Canadian Falls, the American Falls; and the less important Bridal Veil Falls.

It is not the altitude, but the breadth and splendor of the falls that mesmerizes you and leaves you speechless.
