Joey Hishon, an early pick by the Avs, was sent back to his junior team. Hishon hurt his hand in training camp and will be out of it for at least a week, the Avs decided to send him back to their junior team.

Marc Savard will return to the Team
It had previously been reported that Marc Savard will miss the NHL season with post-concussion syndrome. The Boston Bruins issued a report dismissing that initial report. The Bruins expect Savard to return to team training camp later this week.
