Is the Agel opportunity just another complementary MLM?

This morning I received an email from a young woman I am a mentor in online marketing who has been struggling in the MLM industry for years. She took a serious look at her current core business and decided it wasn’t right for her. Now look for a solid alternative. A friend of hers just got started with the Agel network marketing opportunity and asked me what I know about the Agel opportunity.

While I am not currently a distributor for the Agel MLM opportunity, I can help my friend with some simple research.

The Agel opportunity was the brainchild of Glen Jensen in 2004. Glen had the idea that, like athletes using gel products to boost carbohydrates before the big event, maybe ordinary people can use gel technology. suspended to administer nutritional supplements to this same method. Thus was born Agel MLM.

Located in Lehi, UT, Agel offers a variety of products covering a variety of health and wellness areas. The first segment of Agel products are Gelceuticals (taken orally) which include mental energy, weight control, immunity, vitamin and mineral supplements, free radicals, heart health, joint health, cleansing and skin care. skin. Agel has a wide variety of products here.

The second type of product is a strip that includes the male performance enhancement Agel and a sleep aid.

The third classification is Gel Care, which is a collection of skin care products from Agel, such as removing impurities, toning and balancing, exfoliating, healthy glow, eye gel, free radicals, and night gel.

The latest product is a topical gel that is used to soothe the joints and muscles.

On the surface, Agel MLM products seem harmless and may be, but I found several places online that had concerns about what the gel actually contains. Four of the five Agel vitamin products (FIT, EXO, MIN, OHM, and UMI) appear to contain a “Proprietary Sweetener Blend” comprised of Inulin, Xylitol, Neotame, and Acesulfame-K.

Inulin is a type of sugar plant production. It has been found to trigger severe allergic reactions. That is cause for alarm.

Neotame – This is one that seems to raise some eyebrows, apparently this sugar is worse than aspartame.

I’m not a fan of nutrition and multilevel supplements for this and several other reasons.

The next reason I would personally be wary of Agel’s multi-level marketing program is simple. Can I find a cheaper similar product? The sad truth is that 95% of all the people who sign up under you in an MLM do not take action and will withdraw, especially if the product is expensive and the benefit is not worth the recurring monthly billing.

Agel products are priced from a low of $ 30 to a package of around $ 240. That’s just for one product. Buy more than one and it’s a great nut to swallow every month. Unless you gather your team with motivated players who really take the time to work on the show, the Agel product line will be difficult to sell on its own. Sounds like a trick to me. Nutrition and supplements seem to be a dime a dozen with a new trick every week. Just me.

Every nutritional MLM, including Agel MLM, has a “patent pending.” I personally have three earrings. That means I took the time to complete the paperwork and pay the filing fees. It doesn’t mean much until it’s approved, which could take years, if at all.

For the reasons above alone, I would go into this one carefully.

The Agel compensation plan is like many MLM plans. You need an advanced degree to explain it and with 18 levels it is not easy to sell to someone new to MLM. This has been a concern for me in the MLM industry as a whole. To be honest with you, when I look at a compensation plan, I look to see if it meets my basic needs. I need a solid payment for new registrations and a solid way to accumulate residual income forever. Agel’s compensation plan complies with that – it even seems excessive. I like car cancellations and assignments. It’s pretty standard stuff. It’s mostly nonsense for hiring people, but it’s a nice bonus if you get to those levels. So from that angle, I give Agel’s compensation plan a thumbs up.

To be perfectly honest with you, if you are looking to make big money in any MLM, be it the Agel opportunity or any other, you need to consider two factors.

Are you comfortable with the program? Agel’s network marketing program has its pros and cons, but in the end there are a lot of people who make money there.

So if you were to ask me if there is an Agel scam, I would say no. That there is an Agel scam that would mean they are intentionally trying to harm you. I don’t see that. I see a legitimate company and a way to make good money, which brings me to the next factor, so forget about the idea of the Agel scam.

You must find a mentor who can teach you how to be successful in any MLM. Sorry, Agel’s “Ten Steps to Success” reads like any other MLM. Those are the old school methods of lead generation and prospecting. You need to find a leader who can teach you how to sell in today’s market. Only you can decide if Agel’s multi-level marketing program is right for you. I just gave you a quick overview which doesn’t do any show justice, but my advice is to be cautious and do your homework.

For your great success.
