Guaranteed to strike fear into the hearts of many, and guaranteed to spark debate, Spirit’s board is surrounded by stories of life-ruining experiences told with teary eyes and barely averted demonic possession. Harnessing supernatural powers, the talking board is used to access areas of the human psyche that are usually unused, acting as a bridge between realms if not used wisely, it is like an open door between our world and theirs, a gate open through which, without due precautions taken, anything is free to enter.

How to play

There must be a minimum of two people present in order to touch the board successfully, the board or pointer must be placed in the center of the Spirit board and all players must rest their fingers lightly on the board.

Players should then take turns asking questions of the board (taking care that only one person asks a question at a time), if a successful connection to the “other side” has been established, players should receive an answer in about Few minutes.

If you are in contact with an entity, the planchette should begin to move in response to your question, slowly at first and then with greater speed and precision, either responding with a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’ or spelling out an answer using the numbers or letters on the board.

Ouija board rules

Before playing with the Spirit board, there are a few rules you should familiarize yourself with:

Rule number 1: never play alone with the Ouija board.

Rule number 2: Don’t let the planchette count backwards through the numbers or backwards through the alphabet, doing so would allow the spirits to escape.

Rule number 3: Place a silver coin or silver trinket on the Spirit board while it is in use. Silver is believed to ward off evil spirits.

Rule number 4: Never mention God or other higher deities while conversing across the board, doing so could anger the spirits if they have a negative persuasion.

Rule number 5: always say ‘goodbye’, this is the proper way to end your spirit table session and prevents spirits or entities from sticking around to cause mischief.
