Healing Touch – Claircognizance – How we know what we know to be true

Inner knowing is an ability that involves recognizing how we know things in non-ordinary ways. The psychological term for this is clairvoyance. However, we might recognize it from the many biblical stories as “inside knowledge.” It is when we receive thoughts, ideas and concepts that we did not learn in the ordinary way. Upon reflection, we can even recognize that these come from God. This inner knowing can take the form of revelations, insights, or inspirations that we clearly did not have before receiving them. We may have never studied or been taught how to do something and suddenly we are doing it.

Jesus had an inside knowledge

Jesus is often depicted as receiving such insight. He knew when the time had come to move on to his ministry. He knew when it was time to move on to the next town or when he would go up to Jerusalem. He even knew when the end was near and that one of his closest allies would betray him. Jesus knew how to heal, but we see no evidence that he was ever trained in any particular skill. He just knew what to do, how to respond to each person uniquely. He often went off alone to pray and later he knew what was waiting for him. He had heard and received insight from the Father.

The greatest downfall of those who receive inner knowledge is to trust their inner knowledge. To improve or develop these skills, it is important that you take good care of yourself physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. In other words, you need a balanced life. When we achieve balance and take good care of our physical vehicle, we will find that our inner knowing becomes stronger.

Next, we need to clear our minds. Judgments, anxieties, and fears tend to clog our inner knowing. When your mind is clear, it is more receptive to divine guidance. We all receive divine guidance through inner knowing, even if we think we don’t. It is this inner knowledge that leads us to align our will and purpose with God.
