The truth about electric vehicles

Japan has been researching EV (electric vehicle) technology since the past 20 years, but it is a fact that the electric vehicle was invented before the gasoline-powered vehicle. The electric vehicle did not really gain popularity due to weak batteries and recharging system. Now scientists have found minerals like lithium that can really move this technology to have a bigger impact on consumers.
As we all know, there are 3 types of vehicles circulating on our roads.

Many new developers and companies are boldly taking an interest in electric vehicle production, but still the big bet is in the hands of major key players like GM, Honda, Toyota and Nissan. This monopoly will drive up prices due to long research time and expensive batteries. Mitsubishi IMIEV has a reference price of 3,980,000 Japanese yen (JPY). Under the Japan Government Zero Emission Support and Promotion Program, a rebate of JPY 1,140,000 is available to end users. This makes a final price of JPY: 2,840,000

The 500-cycle engine that moves the car is at the rear and the -LEV50 x 88 battery are the main components of IMIEV. It will be fully charged in 14 hours. from an AC100V household socket. But since a great time of around 14 hours is still unacceptable to many. Therefore, all manufacturers focus on providing fast battery charging solution to users. Even the Government. has announced that it will provide support to establish more than 2,000 fast charging points by the year 2020. These points will be useful and the user will be able to recharge around 80% of the batteries in just 30 minutes. but it will still be a question because filling the tank from a gas station takes no more than 2 minutes.

Also, if the user drives the car with full high beam and air conditioning settings, the battery will not last half the distance on a full charge. Therefore, drivers should note that IMIEV will only work for 80 km. if the air conditioning and lights are used continuously. But this is how normal cars do it and the vehicles alternator still charges the battery.

Nissan Leaf another EV has set a total selling price of JPY 3,760,000 and after a government. discount of 770,000 JPY the final price will become 2,990,000 JPY. Well, as we discussed earlier, until batteries are lowering prices, these little babies will be expensive. So if you own the vehicle for 7 years then it could become economical compared to current petrol engines.
