The Waffle House Nutrition Facts Search

Although it is not my favorite restaurant, I have spent a lot of time looking for nutritional information for Waffle House, because it is one of my husband’s favorites. Sources say the restaurant has not made its nutritional information available.

So sometimes the best thing to do is estimate. My husband’s favorite dish is a ribeye, 2 easier eggs, two slices of toast, and a double order of hash browns.

Fortunately, it has some kind of phenomenal natural metabolism. You never gain weight, no matter what you eat. You exercise five days a week. So you’re relatively healthy, but I keep insisting on what those white potatoes, white bread, and red meat could be doing to your long-term health.

The latest research indicates that eggs aren’t that bad. People who consume them regularly actually have lower serum cholesterol than people who never eat them. Of course, I prefer hard-boiled eggs. They are full of nutrients and low in fat. But then I am not a marathon runner.

1978 Boston Marathon winner Gayle Barron apparently enjoys Waffle House nutrition enough to make a stop over three times a week. She recently became the spokesperson for the company. Her favorite dish is grilled chicken, hash browns, and scrambled eggs.

My biggest concern, these days, is avoiding trans fats. Researchers say that trans fats are the worst for heart and circulatory health. The state of California says they cause cancer. From what I have been able to determine, Waffle House does not use trans fat. But I haven’t taken a tour of your kitchen.

Donuts and cakes that you keep on the counter often contain high amounts of trans fat. So if you like to eat at the restaurant, order things off the grill and skip the baked goods. That is my suggestion.

Other fast food restaurants we have visited post nutritional information on the restaurant walls. I haven’t seen any nutritional information for Waffle House anywhere yet, even the newer ones.

When we visit the restaurant, I usually go with the grilled chicken salad. Not bad, although the lettuce and tomatoes are not the freshest.

For people trying to lose weight, the restaurant may be your best option for the middle of the night. At least the food is hot off the grill and the coffee refills are free.

To get the exact Waffle House nutritional information for your favorite dish, you may want to contact the company. Otherwise, you will have to make a rough estimate.
