• Valve Regulated Lead Acid: They are the alternatives to flooded cell batteries and are more expensive than flooded cell batteries. These batteries are also known as “sealed” batteries. You cannot repair these batteries and maintain them either. The hydrometer cannot be used to measure the charge of these batteries and the electrolyte cannot be replenished. These batteries do not require maintenance and are generally used to protect against any type of leakage.

• Surface cycle: To start a car engine, a large amount of energy is needed. And for this purpose, surface cycle batteries are really useful. They can produce great power when starting an engine. After that, they are charged by the engine-driven charging system. They contain electrolyte of higher specific gravity so that internal resistance can be reduced. Many separate thin plates are used to make these batteries.

• Deep cycle: These types of batteries are designed to provide continuous power over a long period of time. Especially small vehicles like small boats, RVs, golf carts, etc. use this type of battery. To store energy from wind turbines or photovoltaic panels, they are also used.

To use the battery for a long period of time, you must follow certain rules. Car batteries that use lead antimony plates may need water on a regular basis. Specialists recommend using distilled water at a particular level. But today most batteries do not require this watering. Always try to use a charging method that is safe. The most popular charging method is trickle charging. Do not overcharge your or keep it charging for a long time. This can shorten the life of your product. And they can even be dangerous.
