King Prawns With Spicy Lemon Sauce

If you love seafood, then you must try my Prawn with Spicy Lemon Sauce. It is so fresh, it tastes a bit spicy, but the fragrance of lemon and coriander makes this dish unique. If you don’t like spicy, you can simply omit the hot sauce. The mixture of tomato sauce with lemon, shrimp and coriander… simply wonderful…!!

Ingredients:

500 grams Prawns, deveined, remove skin and head

2 tablespoons chili sauce

1 teaspoon of tomato sauce

4 garlic cloves, minced

Lemon Juice, from 2 Lemons

8 kafiir lime leaves, boneless, sliced

1 tablespoon fish sauce

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon of sugar

1 teaspoon powdered white pepper

1 bunch cilantro, coarsely chopped

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Addresses:

1. Marinate the prawns with lemon juice (from one lemon), add a clove of minced garlic, season with half a teaspoon of salt. Let stand for 30 minutes, to reduce the fishy odor.

2. Heat vegetable oil in a medium wok, fry the shrimp for 2 minutes until just pink (do not overcook, or they become tough and chewy), place on a medium plate and set aside.

3. Using the remaining vegetable oil, sauté the garlic until fragrant. For the chili sauce and tomato sauce, lemon juice (from 1 lemon) and fish sauce, fry for 1 minute.

4. Season with salt, sugar and white pepper powder, mix well.

5. Place shrimp in wok, cook for 1 minute. Add chopped coriander and kafiir lime leaves, sauté for another 2 minutes, serve.
