How hip hop can change your life

It has been more than four decades since we have known hip-hop. It all started on the streets when few “DJs” like “DJ Herc” invented a new style of music by mixing two different tracks and creating unique beats. It spread like a disease and people started loving it. The young generation of that time did much to make hip hop stand out today.

It was not uncommon to see a group of friends that included men and women meet on a street corner, in underground parking lots, clubs and parties and show off their talent for creating rhythmic lyrics and beat-boxing. Rap later emerged as an essential part of rap and was also well received by people. The rappers began to compete with each other in social gatherings by making their own original lyrics intended to insult the competitor. This was based on fun with no hard feelings or fights.

Hop emerged and developed in New York and then spread across the United States and then around the world. It is not treated as a musical genre, but rather it is considered a culture and a lifestyle. Hip-hop changed the lifestyle of many people and continues to change lives. It is common to see young people in baggy shirts and pants, long chains around the neck and wrists,

“Gelled hair” and graffiti art work around their living spaces. This is all hip-hop and this is all fun. Millions of people around the world live this culture and realize the fact that hop music is not limited to just music. Hop in other words means ‘life free of tension’.

If you like this culture, there is nothing that can prevent you from being attracted to it. A few decades ago there were DJs and singers promoting it and even now there are many hip hop artists who continue to attract our attention with their new hip hop songs. You can hear hot new hop music all around you and it’s still in space and spreading. Hip hoppers like Eminent, Jay Z, Snoop “Dogg” and many other famous names keep this culture alive.

Time has changed in these decades and people have gotten busier with their lives, but rap is still like the old days. It’s still full of energy and fun and it still drives us crazy about it.
