Don Laughlin, owner of the Don Laughlin Riverside Resort Hotel and Casino in Laughlin, NV, has been a car enthusiast for more than 78 years. Don Laughlin and four of his friends own these 85 cars on display. It also has several car collectors who display their cars and can sell them while they are on display.

One of the best things is that Don Laughlin is in the detail business too, detailing his own cars, which rival the Harrah kids’ collection in Reno. Mr. Laughlin’s collection is only 12 cars short of Jay Leno’s impressive collection in Southern California, which is also something to see. These old cars have many different paint jobs and many are really original; Also in his collection are two Deloreans, which are unpainted polished stainless steel.

Don Laughlin was not available to meet with us during our visit, but the casino and collection employees treated us very well and allowed us to ask questions about the collection and future purchases of this item. The collection is viewable and free, young children must be accompanied by an adult. Riverside Casino is Laughlin’s oldest casino and is undergoing a massive renovation with a pedestrian bridge across the street into the trailer park and a new five-level parking structure.

Laughlin Classic Cars is a separate company and is also a Nevada registered Licensed Dealer-Collector-Sales Company.

We really enjoyed our trip to Laughlin Nevada and while you are there you can spend the day by the river and enjoy the many casinos there. Across the river on the Arizona side there are also jet ski rentals, campgrounds, and places to eat. Of course, while the kids are having fun, I recommend the automobile museum.
